FAQ’s

  • Copious amounts of tea, a cat, 32 phoenix’s, a dollop of procrastination, and some fairy dust, but most importantly a love for writing and sharing stories.

  • Both! Clockleville and Wacky Wallace were both character first stories, whereas Kettleton and Alletoria are world first stories.

  • I found that invisible ink makes things very hard to find and dragon blood is ridiculously expensive, so my trusty Macbook is what I use.

  • Tea, kitty cuddles, and pjs on those cold Melbourne days and hopefully a visit from some fantastical beasties, which always makes the day a bit more fun.

  • I use a magical writing spell! Okay not really.

The best thing to do, is to write what you love and write what you hate.

Wacky Wallace and Clockleville came from my fear of emus and bugs. I’m also scared of hippos so maybe there’s a story there somewhere as well! Alletoria and Kettleton came from my love of fantasy worlds and tea. There’s ideas everywhere!

  • The writing part! A magical writing spell would be great help but I haven’t quite figured that one out yet.

  • 9787968594810698509807048 years old… so pretty old.

  • That’s okay, head over to my Book Nook for my story templates and writing prompts.

  • Yes! I’m always on the lookout for these little critters. You don’t want to accidently drink a possum!

  • Kettleton is part of the Tea Tree Valley in the Australian Alps but it’s in an inaccessible area for humans. Sorry guys!

  • Head over to my character page for more info.

  • No, but I would love to! That would be very cool.

  • Because growing up is boring and kids books are so much fun to write.

  • Fantastical worlds, cute possums, wacky emus, and did I mention tea?! My stories will take you from the Aussie bush to Steampunk worlds and many more.

  • Can you really put an age on fun?! My stories are aimed at kids from 6-14 years. But if you’re a lot older and enjoy reading kids books, there’s nothing wrong with that too! Read what you enjoy.

  • Oooh tough question, there’s so many to choose from. I love Mountain Pygmy possums, numbats, echidnas, and bilbies, but I also love cats, tigers, and platypuses.
